As a psychologist, Dr. Glover uses a trauma informed lens to understand how societal factors, like oppression and injustice, impact outcomes. She actively works to create safety for individuals to be their authentic selves and learn skills to reclaim resiliency, radical hope, and have improved qualities of life. Dr. Glover practices from College Station Texas, on the ancestral homes of the Tonkawa, Sana and Coahuiltecan people.
Background
Dr. Glover is the founder of Women’s Holistic Counseling & Consulting LLC. She is passionate about helping clients and organizations thrive. Dr. Glover completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University, obtained her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern State University, and B.S. in Psychology at Prairie View A&M University. Dr. Glover completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at APPIC Accredited Aurora Mental Health Center and pre-doctoral internship training at APA accredited AspenPointe Community Mental Health Center.
Dr. Glover has provided culturally tailored therapy to adults in community mental health, refugee integrated care settings, university counseling, Veteran’s Affairs (VA), inpatient, and correctional settings. Collectively, she has a great deal of experience providing services to individual with depression, anxiety, trauma, racial trauma, panic disorders, physical health challenges, identity based traumas, sexuality and gender concern, assessment, substance abuse, interpersonal concerns, spirituality, career changes, life transitions, grief, loneliness, and low self-esteem.
Supervision
Dr. Glover enjoys supervising and mentoring clinicians. She has supervised Master’s practicum students, and Pre-Doctoral interns within APA accredited internship programs. Her goals are to help supervisees grow in confidence of their clinical abilities while also incorporating identity-based authenticity.
Consultation
Dr. Glover is also committed to helping organizations create inclusive work environments. She has worked extensively in empowering organizations through consultations, outreaches, research, assessment, and presentations. Dr. Glover has provided consultative services with small groups of leaders and to organizations with more than 200 employees. She has partnered with school districts, health departments, universities and community organizations.

In her leisure time you might find Dr. Glover trying out new vegan recipes, writing poetry, cycling, reading, doing yoga, spending time with friends, and dancing soulfully to music.
